Ice Cream Social at Westlake Porter Library

Posted by:

If you follow me on Twitter or Instagram you had a sneak peek at our activities tonight. We went to the Ice Cream Social at Westlake Porter Public Library organized by the Friends of Westlake Porter Public Library. What a great event for an even better cause!

There were dollar ice cream sundaes with the ice cream provided by Mitchell's Ice Cream. They had vanilla, chocolate, cookie dough and porter peppermint patty ice cream, yum, yum, YUM!!! Top that with chocolate sauce and sprinkles and we were in heaven.

There were games and music. The kids won some great prizes! They also had balloon artists! Jude got a balloon hat and Joel got a balloon dog. They were so happy!

It was such a fun night.  We love Westlake Porter Public Library and all the fabulous programs they provide the community.  The kids have learned so much and earned so many great prizes participating in the Summer Reading Program.  So remember to support your local libraries! They love to have you and need your love!

Want to know what we are doing even before we get to write about it?  Get your sneak peeks by Liking us on Facebook at Midwest Family Food and Fun and follow me on TwitterInstagram and Pinterest. We would love to connect and follow you back!
